Insurance - the ‘must have’

Sanity

So - after chewing your nails back to your first knuckle joints, boosting the shares in your favourite caffeine grind, not to mention fatiguing everything in your humble abode that can add up - you have leapt over the edge and are now the responsible adult with a signature on a Very Important Document - a construction loan.

Prior to commencing your construction, pause for a moment, pull that checklist out just one more time. You know, that dog-eared, white-inked, rubber marked blueprint that has been your pillow buddy for weeks.

You have factored in insurance - haven’t you?

Double check with your chosen builder that this is in place, as part of the written contract between you.

The builder’s insurance covers the process of the construction up to
that great day when the builder officially gives ‘certificate of occupancy’.

You, as the owner, need to have your home insurance policy in place for cover from this date.

Sanity Warning - do not omit your Home Insurance Cover!
